Dead workers? Well, at least we aren’t confusing businesses!
Texas workers are dying from heat, but business leaders and Republicans support a ban on local protections, because too many different laws will confuse businesses.

But they oppose a national OSHA standard as well.

This Day in Labor History: November 23, 1891. A miner in Alaska named Patrick Whalen was injured in a mining accident. After a lower court awarded him financial compensation, the Supreme Court stepped in to make sure that injured workers would get nothing!!!!!!
