They ARE funny. In fact, because they’re so unreliable I would say at BEST they’re funny. But on balance they’re more freak out inducing.

The other day I got a message from my son. The summary said "I took the last pill last night". My son is not on any medication, so this was mildly alarming, or at least confusing.

The message being summarized was about taking a math quiz.

Ok, I've all but disabled Apple Intelligence at this point. I've had one too many heart attacks from incredibly poor notification summaries, and I've never once use a suggested response, they are all absolutely trash.

I genuinely can't decide what I think of Apple's notification summaries. I'd say about 2/3 of them are good (maybe closer to 3/4) and the rest of the time they make me scratch my head.

That's a fine ratio except that the good ones are "fine" and the bad ones are terrible.
