WHO IT IS: MORPH from EXILES! Sorry, I meant to post this yesterday, but the day got away from me. I thought the big white area in my work history would’ve jinxed it … The Maxx was a good guess considering the colors.

WHO IS IT? I’m working on some painting commissions. This is one of the splattered canvases before the mask is removed. Any guesses who the superhero character is? (The reveal will be posted in a couple hours.)

Daily sketch: THE INCREDIBLE HULK! Feeling a little loose today. Besides the gestural color and inks, I used the ink pen with the brush tip for greater variation in line width.

Daily sketch: STARFIRE! A lot of life in the orange and purple markers, so this Teen Titan seemed like a good fit. Maybe a prelim for a larger piece, but right now a nice addition to the small sketchbook.

Daily sketch: CONAN THE BARBARIAN! I had no idea who I was drawing when I started this. Just began noodling an extreme leaping-into-battle pose. At the end, Conan seemed a good fit.

Morning sketch: GREEN LANTERN! I was looking at the markers, and hadn’t used the greens much. So Hal Jordan time! Also playing around with a way to handle the boxing glove ring construct with the markers, with a little extra white thrown in.

Little help? I’m taking a poll. I’m considering revisiting this DAREDEVIL piece to darken it up (as I did with a filter on the 2nd image). I might’ve been too tentative on the first, and darker is more dramatic. Which do you prefer?
