Vinyl of the day: Digital Underground-Future Rhythm, 1996 (promo copy). The group’s 4th album and frankly my least favorite. Nothing really hits for me here. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Epic cameo on Pluribus this week.

24 Beers of Christmas, beer 2. Black Ops, Barrel Aged stout. Aged in Four Roses small batch bourbon barrels. 12.4%. Brooklyn Brewery, Brooklyn, NY.

Vinyl of the day: Ten Years After-Recorded Live, 1973. The groups second live album, recorded at shows in Western Europe with no overdubs. It’s a great 2LP set that doesn’t really slog at all like some jam-style band do for me. Hobbit and Help Me in side 2 are my favorites.

Time for the 24 beers of Christmas. Beer 1: Einstök Ölgerd white ale. Ale brewed with coriander and orange peel. Einstok Beer Company, Stratford, CT.

Vinyl of the day: Electric Light Orchestra-Out Of The Blue, 1977. One of the group’s most successful albums, reaching #4. Includes the hits It’s Over, Turn To Stone, and Mr. Blue Sky. Really good overall, but I skip side 4. A lot of groups went a little overboard with double LPs in this era.

Vinyl of the day: Dum Dum Girls-Too True, 2014. Their 3rd and final studio album. A really good album with a unique sound and a lot of fun tracks. Definitely worth a listen if you’re unfamiliar.

Getting a lot of “Go Eagles” wearing my Eagles hoodie around Green Bay today. I just politely say “Actually it’s Go Birds” and move along. I know you all just want the Bears to lose.

Can’t wait until we’re post Post Malone.

Vinyl of the day: The Tubes-The Completion Backward Principle, 1981. I was expecting this to be fully new wave, but they throw some glam rock in there as well for a pleasant surprise. Except for a couple tracks, I really enjoyed it.

Wonder if he’s ever been to Felch Township.

Vinyl of the day: José James-Blackmagic, 2009. Hard dislike on this one. The skill is there but each track is so repetitive (within itself) I couldn’t even get to the 2nd LP. A musical dude to be sure, but not for me.

I suppose if you want to watch all 2430 games, then yes. Seems physically impossible though. You could forgo Netflix and still see 2428. I don’t get the complaint.
Oh you’d like to watch baseball? You’ll need:
NBC
Netflix
ESPN
Fox
Tbs
AppleTV
MLB network

Surprised there lots of people that think “releasing” the files will lead to more than a big nothing burger. I hope they’re right, but, anything implicating anyone that people ‘want’ to be implicated will surely be redacted as “classified” or “unable to be released due to an ongoing investigation.”

Vinyl of the day: Kinsman Dazz-Dazz, 1979. A fun R&B debut from the Cleveland group that would later be known as Dazz Band. Very danceable stuff and of course I’m a sucker for horns. My favorite tracks are I Searched Around, Love Design, and Can’t Get Enough.

I snuck in one summer through a door someone forgot to close all the way. It was surreal.
