I too saw the motown revue at the Fox Theater in Detroit back in the day.

And yeah it was something I remember seeing little steven wonder and was amazed at his talent and energy. His family and mine lived in the Brewster project & got to see him when he visited family on Hasting st.

As one of many black tourist 2 Hawaii it's confounding 2 see Asians, hispanics, Europeans reflected on local news & commercials but not one blk face it feels like the African Am. race doesn't exist in Hawaii!

From news stations , local advertisements etc there's not been one black face.
Historically King Kamehameha&Queen Liliuokalani were very dark&had negroid features!
