I forgot that “daylight saving” returns the time of year when it’s broad daylight while I’m getting ready for bed. It’s a price I’m willing to pay for a full evening’s light though.

As I was sitting here wondering why it was so cold, I realized we’ve reached the “replacing the skylights” portion of new roof day and the house is currently wide open to the outside world. Good times.

A local cat periodically visits, but runs if it hears a sound and never seems to make an appearance if I leave food out. It clearly passed by last night.
