They may get deeper into gender essentialism and nationalism as well. Humans refuse to just embrace the complete lack of certainty and security inherent in life.
This multifacted lack of "certainty" in everything that we are seeing will make people dogmatically move towards monogamy and maybe marriage even though thats just another illusion of certainty/security.
I could be wrong but I think poly people are going to be increasingly discriminated against and hated over the next 30 years even tho they are like 4-5% of the population max.

Also this general worldview is shared by Buddhism and Hinduism and indigenous communities as well, not specific to or unique to Africa or precolonial Africa
