I've not been posting here much, been too busy road tripping around Oz.
Tomorrow I'll be visiting a full size replica of Stone Henge in Esperance, Western Australia. :)
The trickle charger can be plugged into a regular domestic power point. They generally charge at 8A.
If your house is old though, like mine is, it's best not to charge using 70yr old wiring for safety reasons. I installed a 15a socket outside that connects directly to my power board to charge with.
:) Bugger, but I'll be the first person to do it solo in an Atto3. :)
I'll be doing overnight charging using my 15A trickle charger at 3 caravan parks. Timber Creek, Barkly Homestead and at Camooweal.
I contacted all 3 today and they are fine with me charging.
Just dipping my toes into Vic. I chose that stretch of the route as I hadn't driven that road before.
Poor Tassie misses out too. But my next road trip will probably be a fossicking trip to the Weld River, Tassie. I have a honey hole I filled in there a few years back that I'd like to reopen. :)
Follow me on my camping road trip around Australia in my 2022 BYD Atto3.
If I complete the journey I'm pretty sure I'll be the first person to have driven a fully electric BYD vehicle around Australia.

There are those who cannot afford to just ditch their Teslas due to leases or loans attached to the vehicles.
One fellow has debadged his car so at least he's showing others his disassociation with the brand.
Then there's the trusty "I bought this before Elon went Insane" sticker to slap on it.
I wish him the very best. I've been looking at live aboard boats, again, recently. The idea of never having to mow a lawn again that's pushing me toward the nautical lifestyle. It's just my total lack of experience and age that's stopping me.
I charge during the day, using the solar on my roof. And I still end up with credits at the end of each month.
I can also plug my house aircon into the car, if need be, to cool the house during peak period.
Was the sign put up by Erin Patterson? I'd expect to see her sign advertising cooking classes next to it.
:) We'll have a permanent xmas truce. :)
What I fear most, is that Australia will be obliged to support the US in this stupidity. Meaning, we could get drawn into a war with all of Europe.
If/when the US invades Greenland, we will be expected to support the US because of the treaties we have with them. Which means we will be at war, not just with Denmark, but with all European countries that are supporting them.

haha, time is relative. It's old as in I took the pic a long time ago. Smarty pants. LOLOL
I thought it was The Onion at first.
The USA is going to find itself in all sorts of strife if, in 180 days, they follow through with this nonsense. www.congress.gov/bill/119th-c...

It would have been spectacular. I've severely limited my ability to stormchase due to my new (to me) car having a massive sun roof. One big hail stone and that thing is cactus.
I image exclusively using Canon cameras. The colours in the nebulae are as real as the colours of the trees and sky the camera would capture in the day time.
An oldie but a goodies. The spectacular Eta Carina Nebula.

How are you coping with Alnitak? It's a right royal pain to have it smack dab in the middle of all the good stuff.
I'm loving the depth of this image. Very nice processing,
