We Portlanders are trying to be patient but getting awfully testy.

For the love of dog, stop saying "Democrat" when it should be Democratic. It's the Democratic Party, not the Democrat party. Rush Limbaugh started this as a dig to imply we aren't democratic. And now everyone is doing it. Even Democrats. Democrat is a noun. The adjective is "Democratic." So stop it.
