I like soccer.
Can we get a health update on @grahamruthven.bsky.social ? Is he alive? Will he actually watch the USMNT match? Does anybody care?

This makes me wonder, which famous authors would have been legendary posters and which would have been train wrecks?
Shamed to admit I love seeing Rowling news because it always, always, always shows her to still be completely miserable, like she deserves. All that fame and money and she's nothing more than a terminally-online perpetually-angry nutjob. Good.
The maddest part of this is that she memorised the exact wording of a perceived slight by Emma Watson like, 3-and-a-half years ago and then wheeled it out now as if it doesn’t expose how tragic she is. How long has she been ruminating on “I’m here for ALL the witches?” She’s such a fucking LOSER

I know it’s not slow cooker season, but I really love the griddle my wife and the girls got me for Father’s Day. So I wanted to show it off.
Not pictured is the bacon I made to season the griddle to get it ready and to top the burgers.

Sing in me muse and through me tell the story of that man skilled in all ways of Mrs Dalloway.
Improve a first line by substituting Mrs Dalloway.

"The sweat wis lashing oafay Mrs Dalloway; she wis trembling."

"I was making the rounds of the Sacrifice Poles when I heard that Mrs Dalloway had escaped."

"It was a queer, sultry summer, the summer they electrocuted Mrs Dalloway..."

In a hole in the ground there lived a Mrs Dalloway.

Anyone else have a comfort novel? A book they go to in hard times to get your mind off things?
Whenever I’m feeling down I go back to Hitchhikers Guide.
