Thanks to generous support from the community, 100 Jeffco Head Start families have something on the table today. The families received turkeys and full Thanksgiving meal kits.

They were able to serve families from all 5 of the Head Start sites, including the 3 new sites in Lakewood.

Jefferson County Commissioner Zenzinger proclaimed Nov. 22, as Adoption Day in Jeffco. Six adoptions took place during the celebration. There were several guest speakers from Colorado courts and Jeffco Human Services.

Hunger and homelessness are intertwined: food insecurity often leads to housing instability, and vice versa.
