In 2015 I finished this oil painting titled Fallen Buddha just before the Earthquake in Nepal. Subsequently it was used on the cover of The Stranger magazine in Seattle that month. Recently temples and other structures collapsed in Myanmar due to a 7.7 earthquake. Honoring that event with this post.

Rain Snake is a 40x79 inch oil painting I made in 1994. It was the last of a series/style that I worked in since the mid 80s.
This week marks the beginning of Chines New Year of the Snake. Although this image contains water, technically 2025 is the year of the wood snake.
