Virginia General Assembly passed 4 constitutional amendments - protecting reproductive freedom, restoring voting rights, repealing same-sex marriage ban, and reforming redistricting. Thanks to all who laid the groundwork for these protections.
Honored to be Chief Patron of SJ 1. Voters decide next.

I will be updating Virginia’s Equal Pay Act to prohibit employers from asking employees’ salary or wages in job posting. It has narrowed wage gap between men, women, minorities in other states. No one should earn less due to time spent working for nonprofit, teaching, balancing school, raising kids.

In 2026, I will be re-introducing a bill to require safe storage of firearms in homes where children and persons who are not allowed access to firearms are present. I have passed this bill twice and it was vetoed - finally we will protect our families.
