I got the idea for the song when I saw a documentary about a rainforest where endangered birds were being caught with sticky tape to be pets for rich people. But I also extended the idea to humans and how we treat each other.

Finland celebrates Kantele Day this weekend. The kantele is a traditional Finnish instrument. Kanteles are in different sizes. I can somehow play a five-string kantele and here Heta is playing a concert kantele. I have had the pleasure of playing and recording with this wonderful kantelist.
