In hindsight, it seems rather obvious that Akira's reason couldn't have been Marin's personality, but I was still surprised by the subversion of expectations in the finale episode

The tension built up from not knowing the reason why Akira was so distant with Marin. It was dragging for a while, but once it was revealed that Akira's a huge Marin oshi I thought the pacing was fine for something so trivial. Had it been for anything serious, I would've been annoyed

I had one gripe going into the season finale, but I was so satisfied by the way it was addressed that I honestly don't mind it at all. Really hope we get a third season. I'm sure we will with how much money CloverWorks is swimming in with Marin figure sales.
