As a teenager and young man, I was appalled to recognize what adult life was. At how little adults behaved with any type of conscience and responsibility. It may be one of the reasons I loved STOS.

So far, this is my favorite of the New Star Treks (since Enterprise) but as a wanna-be (would-be) writer I can tell you that it's much easier to write that episode with funny-alien-customs than without them. Just like it's easier to write a bad review or elect the wrong President.

Maybe all cats are different... Mishuga didn't purr loudly until after her third year. She did enjoy being petted and would strech her... toes? Sometimes she'd crawled under the blanket and I could feel her near or on my feet. Then, mysteriously, after the 3rd year, her purring became louder.
