Things to look forward to about Scotia Place
With another Calgary Flames season wrapping up last month, it leaves fans excited for next season. The Flames are building themselves a young core. The have Matt Coronato up front, who recently signed a seven-year extension. In goal is Dustin Wolf, who took tremendous strides in his development this season, earning himself a Calder Trophy nomination. There's also Zayne Parekh, a 2024 first-round pick, who played in only one game for the Flames this season.

Heartwarming: The college freshman featured in the NYMag ChatGPT article who said she watched TikTok until her eyes hurt has since posted updates from her Reddit account (her username was included in the article). She said she is no longer using ChatGPT and finished her latest semester without it!

An in-depth analysis of Matt Coronato’s recent extension
It was announced on Saturday that Calgary Flames forward Matt Coronato signed a seven-year, $45.5M extension. Coronato was one of the few restricted free agents on the Flames to-do list. He scored 24 goals and 47 points throughout 77 games. Discussions of an extension began in March while the Flames were on their swing through Coronato's home state of New York.
