I feel like they both have a tendency to downplay their lore knowledge, act naive/clueless/humble about things, but they clearly know some deep lore, and they’ve been working on this story/RoP for probably close to a decade now, sometimes I’m like “just own it!” 😂

Really enjoyed this one! One thing I wanted to mention: I think when the showrunners say they “didn’t know who the Stranger was,” they meant it in the same vein as Tolkien used it, as like, uncovering the story as it grew, rather than they just started writing without any idea who it was
