Just got back from my dad's and it's finally done. Everything has been sorted through and organized and scrubbed, all of my stepmother's stuff is ready to be donated or packed away. Family starts coming in Thursday. We're nearly done.

A perk to being surrounded by country folk is the occasional surplus of deer meat in freezers as hunters get ready for a new season. Got some venison sausage tortellini in the making at the moment, and it smells amazing.

I can't do my homework because I am required to sign in with 2 step verification, but I can not afford to buy a phone card, ergo no phone service, and thus no ability to verify.

I literally can't afford to do my damn homework. WTF.

I have been cooking for the last 5 hours (I LOATHE cooking at any length) but I have a months worth of breakfasts made up for wee heathens to grab with ease, and a few dinners finished and in the freezer. Mealprep sucks but its worth it in the end.

Out local Taco Casa (not all of them just this one as far as I can find) is offering free kids meals daily for anyone who isn't receiving SNAP because of the shutdown so yes I hate it here but it's nice to be reminded not everyone is terrible.

Spent the day at my dad's helping sort through Step Mom's things, going back Saturday. The memorial is next weekend and my Poppy will be coming down, the same one just dx'd with alzheimers. It's a lot. I just want to disappear.

I failed Algebra THREE times in high school before being pity passed to graduate.

I left college and did not go back for 15 YEARS because I could not pass remedial math.

This is my current Algebra grade. I'm not actually stupid, I just finally found a professor I understand.

Woo! Just found out I'm going to have my 4yo nephew, 2 yo twin neices, and 11 month old nephew this Thursday evening 😁 It's gonna be chaos and it's gonna be great!

My Stepmother had a heart attack last night. We have never seen eye to eye and don't have a great relationship, but I've known her since I was 2. My brother and sister and their kids must be so upset right now, not to mention my dad. Complicated feelings aside, I hope she recovers soon.
