I visited the apartment building ICE raided on Tuesday today. Story to come, but you can walk right in. Half of the apartments have no doors on them. Children's stuff abandoned in some flats. *Citizen* residents told me they were arrested and held for hours in zipties. This is America

At one point I was corporate officer in a division of a multi billion dollar corp. The CEO had some issues, but I he was a "Clinton Democrat". That of course also carried issues but made it tolerable.

One of life’s minor enjoyments for an aging athlete…let them burn all their matches, ride in front of them as they try to recover late in the ride and gap them out on the appropriate hill then put a stinger in before the top and drop them.

The thing in my suburban neighborhood is any home with 2+ guys and no women is painted white with black trim and black garage door. Included with every one of them is a couple of raised trucks and an SUV or two backed into the driveway.

The amazing thing about such areas in Barcelona is the number of families that walk with their kids to school. Its fantastic. My favorite thing on the livability scale in Barcelona and Spain in general is the way they accommodate pets on public transport. It's just not an issue.

Stopped doing some local group rides that had some great people but also some terrible MAGA ones that couldn’t stop the hate talk. No meal is good if it has a bit of ground glass in it.
