I strongly believe a representative should live where they serve and cannot in good conscience continue to campaign for a district in which I will no longer reside. As such, I am officially suspending my Congressional campaign. This journey has been humbling, and I am truly grateful to all who have supported me along the way. My experience has facilitated immense personal growth, ignited a fire to serve The People, and I am a better person because of it. While my campaign is coming to an end, my commitment to our communities continues.

I was happy to support @seiu2015.bsky.social's efforts at our Board of Supervisors meeting. IHSS workers are in dire need of a wage that reflects the rising cost of living. Without these workers recipients would lose access to care or be forced into a skilled nursing facility at four times the cost.

Today, home care workers across Siskiyou County stood together at the Board of Supervisors meeting. Siskiyou is the only California county still paying home care workers minimum wage. We’re calling on Siskiyou Supervisors to address the long-term care crisis by raising the IHSS wage.
