My brain did promise me.. Started some #ZXSpectrum tinkerings with the beginnings of a TNFS file browser, messing about in BASIC to start with but I think a switch to C will come shortly.

On the one hand I wouldnt mind getting my teeth in to more game dev, but on the other I fancy some good old fashion tinkering - new Spectranet stuff has been bobbing around my brain for a while now.

Started a new iteration of the Spectranet's random pickler, no database, no filtering, just a directory listing of the entire TOSEC games archive to pick from.
Non tap files ditched server side, with some autoconversion of z80 to sna. This'll certainly make them more interesting

With the ASCII crawler done and out its time to start looking at the next step, am thinking the SP1 sprite library might be a good thing to look at.
Perhaps porting Black Hole RX back over to the Spectrum would be a good learning exercise.
