Like Hugo Chavez before him Nicolas Maduro is a bad, corrupt dictator. Venezuela was not well served by them. But as we did in the Balkans, Panama and going after Al-Quida, our nation needed to build support and make the case here and abroad.

For what it’s worth College Football Playoff night edition … Both Indiana and Ohio State deserve byes. Ohio State could repeat as champs. Fernando Mendoza deserves the Heisman. Please tell me that Duke doesn’t get in with a win.

BYU should not go in because a) they are BYU and b) their performance today shows they don’t belong. Alabama should not be in because a) no team with three losses should go in regardless of conference and b) their performance today shows they don’t belong.
