Pitt climbs back into the CFP rankings at No. 22, one spot ahead of Georgia Tech after beating the Yellow Jackets 42-28 over the weekend.

Rasheem Biles, Braylan Lovelace and Kyle Louis the past two seasons:

12 interceptions
6 touchdowns

There just simply isn't a linebacker trio like that in all of college football.

Just to let the world know, I am on an airplane. There is reason to believe this airplane will take off and take me home.

I truly did not watch a second of today’s game, but I can not give you one reason at all why the current regime of Pitt basketball should be given a ninth season.

Terminal A of Dulles is my new home.
When you get the $15 meal voucher sent to you from United it’s over. You are never getting on the plane.

From the first quarter to his 56-yard sprint to end the game, Ja'Kyrian Turner was blowing past Georgia Tech's defense like it was nothing:

'That's just what he does. When you get the ball in his hands, he's gonna take off on people'
Turner runs past No. 16 Georgia Tech with ease

'Man, I'm a dumbass, how about that?'

If you had a conversation with me about the Pitt/GT at any point in the past two months, I probably said something like,

'If GT thinks it is just going to run 20 QB dives with King running into Pitt's front seven, then I think they'll be in good shape'

I’ve always adopted the rule that there are no social norms in the airport. So having said that, it’s annoying the Atlanta airport doesn’t serve beers until 11 on Sundays.

Ja'Kyrian Turner notches Pitt's first 200-yard rushing performance since 10-8-2022 when Israel Abanikanda rushed for 320 yards over Virginia Tech

By virtue of defeating No. 16 Georgia Tech tonight 42-28, Pitt now has two road wins over AP Top 25 opponents this season.

Pitt previously beat No. 25 Florida State earlier this year. This is the first time since 1979 Pitt has grabbed two ranked road wins in the same season.

Hearing a stadium go dead silent all at once is kind of crazy.
November 23, 2025 at 3:27 AM
Probably the most telling stat of the fourth quarter is that Georgia Tech is leading the time of possession battle. I'm not sure why Pitt was running plays with 20ish seconds on the play clock.

Pitt's fake punt attempt gives GT a lot of life. Never had a chance. Hicks slipped immediately before he got going.
November 23, 2025 at 3:16 AM
Mason Heintschel has been sacked six times now. That will draw criticism for the offensive line, but he needs to know when to get rid of the ball more quickly. Half of them have been on him.
November 23, 2025 at 2:58 AM
Pitt now has four defensive touchdowns this season (Three in the past three games)

Entering today, only seven teams in college football had at least that many.
