They look like a cross between a mouse and a kangaroo, between a squirrel and a rabbit in size. Like kangaroos, they're marsupials, and carry babies in a tummy pouch.

These live near my house, which I know because my cat likes to stare at them through the window, which makes me notice them, too.
That widow's peak of dark fur on the head suddenly makes me wonder if Mickey Mouse should really be Micky Opossum.
