I’ve had a very good day today… it’s very rare for me to have consecutive good things happen to me. I played my favorite board game (in solo mode) after being stuck working for so long.

Good days can be rare sometimes, so cherish them and enjoy them when they do happen 🐉

Lately I have gone back to doing something I used to do years ago but stopped: youtube! I decided to do a funny video essay but filming with my fursuit now! I am rebranding my channel to furry focused and I'll be doing humorous reviews of movie and media!

I ask that because it’s important to remember that every kind of paint has its own techniques!! Using watercolor techniques for acrylic paintings won’t make it turn out good! If you try and learn a bit about some basic techniques for the paint you’re using you’ll start to get more comfy with it

What kind of paint are you using? In traditional art everyone has “their medium” that works for them. For me it’s watercolors. If you’re using acrylics then yeah they dry very fast because they’re plastic based lol. Meanwhile oil takes days to dry. Gouache is the standard that most schools use

Learning a new dance style?? 👀

Lately I have been learning a new style for dance routines: Vogue! I am used to more masculine styles so it’s being very fun to try out some more extremely feminine techniques (watch till the end to see me slip and fall)

Np, idk what drawing program you use but for me when I draw on Photoshop I find that doing a multiply shadow layer on top of the drawing and then erasing it little by little to mark where the lighting will be makes the end result more natural looking and not like everything is way too bright:

The lighting looks really cool, can I give a suggestion? I think for outdoor scenes like that that involve a lot of shade it might make the lighting more dynamic to work from dark to light. Put on a layer of shade on the entire drawing and light it up little by little, that way it's not too bright

I made a lovely friend in this raptor doggo. I didn’t know much about @twilightsaint.bsky.social before I met him aside from his suit, but he’s one of the sweetest critters I’ve interacted with and while I was nervous backstage in the dance competition he reassured me. Hope to see him again!

I also apologize if I seemed weird/ tongue tied around some of the furs I knew and admired like Beta or Fluke because I was meeting so many people I only knew online from across the continent for the first time and I didn’t really know how to behave to not look weird lol, made me happy to be there 🐉

I told Fluke the same thing, but I do a fursuit dancing 101 pannel in my local con, Brazil Furfest. Since many Brazilian furs don’t speak english and many are young furs, I get to introduce them all to yours and Fluke’s dance styles to inspire them! You inspire new people every year through that 🐉
