I'm new and just wanted to say hi! I'm a self-published author with 8 books out on amazon.
My latest project is a Kickstarter for the comic adaptation of my next novel titled 'Don't Combust'. The comic Kickstarter launch is in March 2025 and I'm really excited to see it come to life!

New Paperbacks!
It turns out that people like looking at the back cover to read what the story is about... who would've thought... lol. It only took me talking to people in person to find out that most turned the book over to get a sense of what they were about to read... yay for market research!

Thanks @torontogameexpo it was a fun weekend and I hope to be back in the spring :). I am happy to have had a chance to sell some books/comics and most of all, talk about some stuff I love :). I got to introduce LitRPG to a ton of people, and I think that's a win overall :)

I'm an author and I'm vending at a local game expo (yesterday and today) - yesterday did not go well. Lots of gamers, I've got my novels, comics and posters. Most people I talk to say they don't read. In fact, they seem to avoid the idea of books altogether lol

Started The Inheritance by Ilona Andrews because I saw someone mention it was a litrpg. A couple chapters in and it definitely fits the bill, even without the stat screens. Always interesting to read different takes on the genre and I'm enjoying it so far. Here's to more people reading LitRPG!

Getting my books into a few Indigos is progressing well, but it makes me wonder how these publishers make it work - the math is sad, and I'd love to hear publisher perspectives! Is it reasonable to only expect $2-3 per sale from a paperback?

The Weight Of It All and System Orphans: Claire ebooks are now available in libraries, which I think is pretty cool. Mostly because it'll be fun to introduce the stories to a new cohort of people, those who are fans of LitRPG and those who aren't... yet.
