Jayden Daniels suffering a brutal, likely season-ending injury in the fourth quarter of a game his team is losing 38-7 is really unfortunate. One of the most exciting young players in the league and he had just come back from injury. Never want to see it.

A masterfully crafted, lovingly rendered, gorgeous vision of Mary Shelley's classic tale with a haunting final act that broke my heart yet left it brimming with the fragile beauty of hope. Much like overtime in college football where you have to go for two after the first overtime, it should be illegal in baseball to intentionally walk anyone in extra innings. Pitch to everyone. Enough of this nonsense.

So whatever Purgatory is actually like, a World Series game heading into its 15th inning after 7 consecutive scoreless innings where the best player who could most easily end it all with a single swing keeps getting intentionally walked probably captures the general vibe.

As much as I love Stanford’s traditional logo featuring the block S with the redwood tree, I’m becoming a big fan of the newer Cardinal Red helmets with the white cursive Stanford script. I wouldn’t mind if those became a more regular part of the uniform rotation, or even the base look. #GoStanford

They always make it harder than it needs to be. But after letting Northwestern back in the game, Nebraska responded with a game-winning drive and a defensive stop. The Huskers get their 6th win and will go bowling again. That’s a game they would’ve lost in previous years. I’ll accept progress. #GBR
