Why did I think it was a good idea to make Dracula my next audiobook? I can’t listen to this at night, when I’m getting everything ready for work. It’s too scary!
Sam’s club has been out of starlight mints for over a month. This is ruining my life. No exaggeration. My students are obsessed with those mints. Now I have to buy small bags at Kroger. I NEED the giant bag!
I am JUST NOW discovering that Black Violin has a daytime show for students that would be amazing for my AP African American Studies students to experience. It’s tomorrow. There’s literally no way to get tickets and a bus now. I’m so irritated!
Thankfully my PLC team was willing to turn off the lights and pretend like they were sharing scary stories while discussing note taking strategies so I could wait for my migraine pill to take effect while I just sat there and pretended to participate today.
I survived the first fire drill of the year and made it past interims. I did not survive the first evacuation drill. Got mistaken for a child TWICE today. By my own students.
I just need to keep reading the book and learning as much as I can so I can make an informed decision about whether or not this is actually something I want to do
I’m only 30 pages into the book so far, but that section was upsetting because I don’t want to get attached to the bees just for them to die so quickly!
