Trump once supposedly said that if it were up to Stephen Miller, the U.S. population would be 100 million people...less than a third of our current population.

So it would seem that perhaps shuttering the CDC is less bug than feature.

Rather than focusing on those who WEREN'T awarded the Nobel Peace prize, it's worth a read to learn about the incredible work of Maria Corina Machado.

It's almost as though the Nobel committee prioritizes actions that make positive changes in a community and the world.
