I think my original response was poorly worded. I’d been wondering why the far right are pushing it. The end game. This appears to me to be far right regimes taking into state care children of unwanted pregnancies and raising them in their own image. Perhaps I am naive to only just think this now.
The government should stop messing about and bring in minimum standard of passive house or passive house equivalent for new builds. Current regs are too weak and real world performance is nowhere near modelled performance under current regs. Would also reduce fuel poverty. Other measures needed too
