Late start on the Mortcast. Recording right now: Nuggets amazing on the road, terrible at home. Also what I picked up on that maybe explains the Nuggets defensive issues outside of AG being injured. Coming up soooooon!

RIP Steve Cropper. You might not know him by his face but you've damn sure heard his guitar before. Truly a legend.

No CSG today folks, lots of complications arose. I'll be back tomorrow morning with a recap of the Nuggets Mavs game.

Just an observation from someone who's been in media for nearly 17 years now: Sports discussion is awful bro-centric. Things begin and end in the bro-sphere. One thing I've tried to do is make it less about that and a welcoming atmosphere for everyone else.

RIP to an original. No one did unnerving quite like Udo Kier
Udo Kier has passed away at 81. A singular screen presence, Kier had a long history in the horror genre, starring in films including Mark of the Devil, Andy Warhol's Frankenstein, Blood for Dracula, Blade, Feardotcom, Rob Zombie's Halloween, and Dario Argento's Mother of Tears.

RIP to Nuggets legend Rodney Rogers. Man. His dunk against the Spurs in the Playoffs is an all-timer. But he will be always known as the 9 points in 8 seconds guy which produced one of Scott Hastings best calls.

"What Jokic was able to achieve prior to this season considering that — quite literally — the league rules have made post play a thing of the past is remarkable. Astounding. Jokic is the thing that should not be. The unnamable. Cthulhu. We gaze upon him at the risk of our very sanity."

Sad to see that David Coverdale is retiring from the music biz. If you're of a certain age you heard his songs all over the radio. Great voice and great human who wished my brother the best while he was going through cancer treatments. Happy retirement DC.
