We don't need it, or its apologists contaminating what is an otherwise positive community under the excuse of 'free speech'. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. I know this breaks my "politics-free" rule for socials, but I see many friends hurt and affected, and it stinks.

The country was born in was ruled by fascists until 1974. My parents were already 16 years old when a constitutional democracy was installed for the first time ever.

Needless to say, then, I *know* what fascism looks like, and I know it when I see it. My tolerance for it is 0.

Dude, this new obsession in recent books with taking "show, don't tell" almost literally is making some of them unreadable. Not *every* little detail needs to be shown. It just makes for excessively convoluted stories and really, really hurts pacing. Just move the story along!
