AI is undoing progress on climate change - Microsoft AI is being used by Exxon to drill for oil…

The Metropolitan Police have arrested 493 people in Trafalgar Square for holding signs reading "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action" and say the figure could rise as processing continues

That brings the number of arrests linked to the Palestine Action ban to around 2,000 in London alone

We’re heartbroken to learn that Dr Jane Goodall has passed away, aged 91.

Dr Goodall was one of the true conservation giants of our time. Let’s honour her legacy by choosing to make a difference in the world - by protecting it.

Thank you, Jane, for everything you did for our planet. 💚

So sad - Jane Goodall fought for nature when it wasn't fashionable to do so and continued fighting when she knew she'd never see the better world she wanted. A true heroine.

And if you're wondering whether someone getting killed is what it will take for the media and political class to come to their senses, I would just remind you that Jo Cox was murdered in a similar moment of demagoguery and hysteria 9 years ago, and if anything things have got far worse since then.
People’s homes are being stormed by far-right groups. The govt. Is saying nothing about how violence like this will not be tolerated. Where is Starmer’s “law and order” now? They’ve no control and we are moments away from someone being killed. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

The judgment focuses entirely on the legal criteria for granting interim injunctions (under American Cyanamid rules), & how the previous judge applied them incorrectly - thereby misapplying the law. Nothing to do with people’s rights (under ECHR or otherwise), asylum seekers, or anything else.
Nigel Farage has, inevitably, said that this ruling means “Illegal migrants have more rights than the British people under Starmer”.

The court’s short summary makes it explicit in two separate places that didn’t even enter into its reasoning, which centred on criteria for injunction.
"We should say at the outset what this appeal hearing is not about: it is not concerned with the merits of Government policy in relation to the provision of accommodation for asylum seekers, in hotels or otherwise."

Reform should not only be held to account they should be mocked. Thoroughly mocked. They and their Toad of Toad Hall leader are a fucking laughing stock and deserve the same contempt they reserve for potential voters.

It should be a matter of embarrassment to vote for them.

Petition: Ban Bluefish Tuna Sportfishing Tournaments in the UK.
I believe the government needs to ban sportfishing of Bluefish Tuna because it is very unethical. These fish have only recently returned to British shores, and now they are being targeted by this sportfishing trend.
