Reading this whilst on a train down from Manchester to London and, sure, why not, who wants to travel between England's two biggest cities anyway?
Why pubs are great - turns out me and my dad were sat on the same table as George Michael's drummer tonight, whilst watching the football?!
(I will admit to being skeptical, but a Google on the tram home shows that yes, for eight years or so, that was his life!)

@lmtpod.city, this will be a depressing podcast when it comes. Think my thoughts can be summed up by the Peep Show meme... If nothing else, seeing the squad would basically do the Leverkusen's manager's team talk for them - that's what you play in the league cup against a championship team!

Water Lily, the Chinese restaurant near us in Chorlton, does an exquisite Mapo Tofu dish, which I always order whenever we visit. Went again tonight after the football, so gaze upon its wondrousness! And if you're ever there, order it, it really is very good.

Bought the new @younglivesvscancer.bsky.social teddy earlier today with a plan for it to be a friend's child's Christmas present, but Vinny seems to have other ideas - think Bruno is his toy now!

Thankfully, in Manchester we have Jack's House for families who have to travel into the city for their treatment from across the UK, to help families to stay together & cut down on travel costs.The extra costs cancer brings families are huge, and bring challenges at what's already a horrific time.
