Obama was awarded a Nobel in 2009 he did not ask for, and, frankly, did not deserve. It was a farce.
Obama was so uncomfortable receiving it that he spent part of his speech talking about the necessity and legitimacy of "just war".

It’s not the same. Inside Israel proper there is no apartheid. The West Bank and Gaza are different. That is why I think sanctions have to be carefully targeted towards those who are responsible for the crimes there.

Sickening - cultural or sports boycotts are not the way. I can think of no other nation being forced to change the name of the cycling team it sponsors. I mean „XDS Astana“ is ok? „UAE Emirates“ is ok, but not „Israel Premier Tech“?

From a German point of view this seems exactly right. Twelve years in power is a magic number if you want an „ideological revolution“ to succeed.
Sarcasm off: it is terrifying to see a sane conservative like Ross Douthat become a strategist for MAGA mainstreaming.
