Teaching class four of my five class course on Mike Nichols & Elaine May. Today we’re focusing on May’s challenging career as a film director, including the legendary box office flop ‘Ishtar’ of which she once said ‘If all of the people who hate ‘Ishtar’ had seen it, I would be a rich woman today.’
