Started the big plant! I see tulip planting as the big end of year tidy, it always takes me five times longer than it should, but I love it. It takes away the pre-winter doom.

I live 12 km from a sugar refinery, on a bad day it has a distinct drain smell, on a bad windy day there is a faint odour in the village.

I like the layout of the larger piece and the smoother swirls, but I don’t like the swirls on the lower swallow, it reminds me of sexist fantasy armour for women warriors! (Never a good look)

Pachinko on Apple TV, it’s subtitled, but so brilliant even the title scenes are worth watching. 4 generations of Korean immigrants in Japan, forced there in the war, what it means to be an outsider. Beautifully written, excellent acting and the mise en scene and cinematography are just superb

I have solved this by only buying tools with bright red handles. However I still make an annual sacrifice of secateurs to the compost heap.
