3/3 I don't believe that anyone thinks that Humphreys being a Presbyterian should disqualify her from the Presidential race.. rather she needs to clarify if she believes (as per the Orange Order) that Protestants have a right to hegemony here and that British rule in Ireland is her preference

2/3 Many Irish Nationalists who equally found themselves on the "wrong side of the border after partition" were disenfranchised and faced significant discrimination - Catholics could not hold any significant employment positions or vote - universal suffrage wasn't enacted in NI until 1969...

I have no issue with this whatsoever. Heather and her family prospered in the Irish Free State and later ROI..
