When using gen ai to make complex images, I find it's 1000x easier to draw a shitty version of it first, then ask it to restyle that image, than it is to try and cold prompt it

My experience using AI for graphic design is that there isn't really a time-savings. AI usually doesn't produce what you want the first time, so you end up making a lot of iterative generations.
The main benefit I've found is being able to design in styles I didn't have strong skills for previously

Designed my first yoga mat this past week, for Orita. Pretty pleased with how it turned out. I tried to mix conventional yogi mandala/sacred geometry patterns with dots & lines representing data connection and machine learning.
