The social care decision is a craven cop-out by a new government with the majority to act. The timeline for the commission is a giveaway that nothing is to be done. NHS beds will remain blocked for the forseeable and the wider crisis in care is parked for another parliament.

Aim is probably to enable ads from “higher quality” advertisers. At the moment they refuse to have their ads alongside article that have any “difficult”words on them. Mantis seeks to analyse the whole page rather then word by word. Still, Reach sites are pretty unusable…

Only worth ~£190m now - merged with Eutelsat so HMG has 10.9% of that. Could argue worth keeping for influence over Iris2 (EC sovereign satellite comms plan)
