I have a drone, I am not very good at it.

Find me on the Lensless & lo-fi podcast.

One of the relatively untouched alleyways in Glasgow City, has the original surface, the metal edges & some of the ghost signs. Not sure why the bottom part is painted white but there will be a reason.
The tasma film I used has a deep fogging right down the middle, weird.... #filmphotography

The BOAC building Glasgow City Centre.
An oddity from the architecture design house that was Gillespie, Kidd & Coia. Known for their brutalist buildings, this one is considered brutalist but not.
Copper clad concrete.

Glasgow "street" scene
Canon EOS1n Nikon 35mm PC lens Tasma Type 42
I have shifted the horizon down by using the full 11mm rise on the lens here.
It adds a different depth to people and buildings.
It was hellishly dark shooting at f2.8 iso 400

I do love the subways and I do street photography + combine both.
I have been a member of a scottish street facebook group since it started about 9 years ago. They knocked this subway one back as an architectural photo
However I looked through my images, last 1 has even less human by proportion.

The Tollbooth tower Glasgow Cross....
Slap bang in the merchant city now, this area used to be, how can I put it, rougher than a badgers arse.... Now it is just not the case.

1/2 This tower block along with its other 2 pals are due to come down in about a fortnight.
Reviewing my images of them I zoomed in to remove a spot and realised they were large format.
200% zoom and it still renders beautifully.

I haven’t baked with my San fran ancient sourdough for a month or so. I’ve had it at least 10 years and it was an oldie then.
Been using my others.
2 days to feed it enough to get it going again
2 day fermentation in the fridge for the dough
A normal loaf & a blueberry one.

It's that time of year again
Somewhere in the middle of Scotland, I think it was Loch Chon or at least it was in that area based on photos around it on the roll.

2 views on Titan station, Bucharest
Pronounced TeeTan from memory
A beautiful modern looking station, the largest vaulted on the line, most have supporting columns.
They froze the marsh it was build on for 90 days during construction in 1981

Technically this was supposed to be full frame.
However it was the dying breath from one of my X700's, giving me a roll of half frames for the ones it worked with.
I never did suss out why it did that...
@warboyssnapper.bsky.social the nearest you will see me to half frame.

Glasgow street, southside.
6x9 pinhole camera. I converted from a folder to this.
The pinhole sits risen, with only the one hand drilled one fitted.
I think now my 3d printing skills have improved, it is time to bring it out of retirement (a dusty corner of my office)

Oddly enough I never put my mark up's on prints any more whilst perfecting the "final" one. Not sure when I fell away from it.
Who still does this?
If you do what do you add?
This was from back in 2016.

I have a massive distaste for the reject cookies and pay model
After seeing Dylan in concert again last night I was looking something up.
Daily mail wanted cash to view.
I say feck the daily mail 😂
Press the … select reading mode.. bingo

People sometimes ask me why I am such an advocate of rise and fall in photography.
This was shot on one of Steve @chromacamera.bsky.social beta cameras a few years back (ignore the reflection)
The cut off point for the lens in the middle is the red line, the image would not work without rise.

I must have been testing something when I shot a series of flowers out the garden earlier in the year.
Possibly a developer / film or lens before selling it.
I do know they were on my eos1n
But here are some of them to cheer us all on a Sunday morning

I do the odd drone up in the sky kind of thing as well.
Tonight, Sighthill Bridge Glasgow.
This is as high as I can legally fly. I was pretty windy up there according to the drones sensors. I did try a hyperlapse but there was movement due to the ferocity of the wind....
