I have edited this image a few different ways as you can see,
added colour, cropped and some other things culminating in me noticing this new super resolution button in lightroom.
1 is cropped at 100% then super resolution at 50% (same area)
quite remarkable really
Upsizing has come a long way.

A typically typical fire station of a type of construction from a period in time. Southside Glasgow
We have a fair few buildings of this type dotted around the west of Scotland. I would imagine they are common elsewhere.

Got some serious expansion sideways and up so much so the loaves touched in middle then pushed together
I had to separate after 20 mins in
Dough was still same at that point
But absolutely fine after another 15 mins in 😍

More Tri-X
Pyrocat HD.
The grain is under control, but lacks the acutance I am more used to seeing on 1:31 HC110, but it has a similar tonal range by the looks of it.
For folks who use Pyro does the acutance improve if diluted less?

And the developing time I assumed was just about spot on
Though I increased the temp by 3 degrees
Time in developer for that would have been about 7:30 by the time I got it unrolled, re rolled then dropped in the stop bath 😂😂

Bingo.
Completely flat scan with no post processing
Auto and CCR unticked on the scanner.
Defo looks like a rodinal type developer and fairly typical of normal results from Tri-X in that type of dev.
No bad for a 40 year old commie developer.

The 7 min is about ok
Possibly I could have reduced temp.
I will do a write up on my website once I scan the images
But this developer & the fixer that went with it expired in 1978/9
I think it’s a rodinal type
(Smell / feel) 2 part.

Now and again @nikandtrickphoto.bsky.social ask me to try something.
This time a rather ancient Russian developer and fixer
I had limited hope of anything so tried a roll of tasma first
And it came out well exposed
Then a roll of tri-x I cut some for 7 mins the rest for about 10
