During a recent economic update, the speaker mentioned we'll be in real trouble in a few years as the baby boomers retire and the coming generations are smaller. If only we had more people wanting to work for reasonable wages. But we'll be busy deporting our friends and neighbors who want the work.

So a TV personality is going to head up the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid...and RFK Jr (complete with his brain worm) is nominated for HHS secretary. This lunacy is going to hurt real people in real ways.

It's hard to believe the behaviour of our elected representatives. Suppose it's easier or politically advantageous to be hateful & intolerant than it is to seek peace and understanding.
Rep. Nancy Mace says her effort to ban transgender women from using female bathrooms at the U.S. Capitol is a direct response to the election of Sarah McBride, who is set to be the first openly transgender person in Congress.

McBride, the first out transgender person elected to Congress, will be serving in the House starting next year and Mace doesn't want her using women's bathrooms at the Capitol.
