Hello #portfolioday!

I’m Danny Chan, a British-born Chinese concept designer, and I’m fascinated by functional and over-engineered sci-fi elements! Here’s a snippet of my recent studio work:

The carnage from last night! Typical of United, making lives hard for ourselves! Complete carnage at Stretty when Maguire scored in the winner, in ruins and legs just about in tact me! To those Lyon rats, au revoir, don't trip on your way out yer racist bastards 🖕🇾🇪 #MUFC

Stay classy Lyon fans how nice of their fans giving it the Chinese eye gesture 🤷🏻‍♂️ too bad GMP don't care about racism towards ESEA.

I don't need approval or elikes, but this has been troubling recently & based on what I've learned from @fsoofoundation.bsky.social & the ESEA community in England, racism especially towards ESEA is largely ignored. Not afraid to call out on United fans too, it's disgraceful & won't go about Foden

Made a small cameo me, for those who have met me at matchdays, you know my views. Not going down without a fight me. #MUFC 🇾🇪
MUFC fans at the match - their views on the new ground. Nathan asked loads at the Sociedad game.

Mega day out that wos. Unlucky that we didn't win, typical of United to turn up in the big games, but the grand scheme of things is that #GlazersOut, good turn out that. Again, it has been raised on @rednews.bsky.social that the critical stage now is to get the protest worldwide #MUFC

Wow am shattered me 😅 some days it were in San Sebastian. Beautiful place that was.
Watching back now, got done by a harsh penalty, would have taken the draw initially. Now to win it at Old Trafford to progress to the next stage of Europa League. 🇾🇪

Hola from San Sebastian.

Out of the cup, painful reality of where we're at, only the Europa League is salvageable for this "tough" season. Been spoilt ridiculously when growing up, so times like these means they'll need our support even more. Through thick and thin. We all know the root issue is as well. #MUFC #GlazersOut

Great being back at Old Trafford. Typical United, making things hard for ourselves, at least we're safe for this season 😮‍💨🇾🇪

Re: yesterday, 1st half terrible and non existent, at least this time we showed some resilience and managed to claw our way back. Priority really should be in the Europa League and the FA Cup. On another note, can't wait to be back at Old Trafford on Wednesday me 🇾🇪

This whole Glazers talk is not surprising at all. Never ever take any word from them seriously at all. The ultimate talk are the share prices and the cash flow (which we are in an unsustainable place). There is one method that hasn't been tried yet, it was covered in @rednews.bsky.social previously.

The Munich Air Disaster: A Long Read

6th February is of course the anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster. Back in 2008 I researched and wrote the following 8000+ word piece on the Munich Air Disaster. I've posted it before but I always think it's worth reminding ourselves. It spells out the story of the disaster; the spirit of Manchester at the time and explains how the tragedy affected individuals from both Red and Blue Manchester.

Yesterday showed that we need proper wing backs for Amorim's system to actually thrive. Won't moan about the result too much, considering the grand scheme of things this week. It's a week of reflection, memories and appreciation of the Busby Babes, we'll never die no matter what #MUFC #busbybabes

I've been sticking these up round town. It seems as lame as throwing eggs at a missile, but y'know, you have to do lame stuff as well as the heavy lifting elsewhere.

Been seeing loads of complaints tonight re Rangers fans in home sections.

Please send complaints or info to [email protected] so it is logged officially.

We will be following up with club pending their investigation.

If you look at the ticket pages on social media, you can partially see the reason why 😕
This was last season. How, after that fiasco, did so many Rangers fans get in the United end?

More cost cutting I see from Ratcliffe.I guess we'll have to pay for the replacement of the smashed TV caused by Amorim 😐 #MUFC

So sad to hear the news of the passing of Denis Law. 💔
The original king, the last of the trinity now joining Sir Bobby and Georgie in the heavens. Rest in peace.

Gutting news. The King. The Lawman. King Denis. The old timer Reds describe him with so much affection, 'the one', he was their King and they loved him and treasured him. We met him. He was lovely. Oozed charisma. Charming. Thoughts to his lovely family. DENIS LAW THE KING! RIP.

This - Glazers being able to run the club appallingly aside - is my issue. The system shouldn’t incentivise selling academy players. It’s ridiculous
Is it a fault with PSR that players who come through the academy and get sold are valued from an accounting point of view as all of it can be booked as profit?

Surely the "Sustainability" part of PSR should value academy players staying at the clubs they came through at?

It's all fucked up.
