It's not weird at all. It's a tale as old as time. It happened in Rome 2000 years ago, and probably before that too. Greed begets greed until frustration takes over and greed falls and the next system in the order takes over.

Serious question: Have the wealthy and well-connected ever NOT controlled the political system? Is it possible that they always have, but their wants and designs have shifted over time, and right now they are just not satisfied with extreme privilege, because they are sick?

The key problem of #AI is that it cannot do the other three things, at all in some cases.

#AI feels much like Ozymandias' statue right now, while it was being built- except that we are well aware of our potential fate, and our 'best and brightest' keep charging ahead like lemmings over the cliff.

That's the nature of success, and why a lot of songwriters and bands start to suck after success- many of them go from genuine struggle to get by (or at least no one knowing them while they surf on a safety net) to being wealthy and out of touch with the reality of the majority.

Why do people keep dancing around this? It's a racist government police force. There was never going to be anything constitutional about it. Get past the cry of "they're breaking the rules" and realize you're living in a rules-free nation now. Time to get street-smart, time to play dirty.
