In our little deep red town, we had about 100 or so people show up to our no kings - and our un-American hateful activity was to shout “we love you anyway!” whenever people driving by flipped us off (or rolled coal).
This is just an urban legend though, it’s not actually true.
I disagree @gruber.foo - with a xerox machine you have to have a physical source. You have to do the work to find and acquire the source, you have to physically modify your own work, and iterate physically. It’s very different than just writing prompts for AI.

They also often miss the concept of “amendment”. I have been told more than once in debates that 2A is in the Constitution and therefore it can’t be changed…
I’m taking back Gadsden as well!
I am fairly sure they have never read the document past the opening three words.

Also - they should read the Declaration of Independence. About 2/3 of the grievances against the British crown - are things which Trump has done.
I would like to call out that the local law enforcement officers who were present were incredibly friendly, very supportive, and were thanking people for coming out - as well as watching closely the drivers who were “rolling coal” or otherwise being threatening. Nice and respectful peaceful day!
Maybe about 100 people showed up for the #NoKingsRally in our little deep red Battle Ground, WA. Not too shabby!

“Overall, Apple is prioritizing spectacle over usability, lending credibility to the theory that Liquid Glass is an attempt to distract customers from iOS 26’s lack of long-promised AI features.”

Liquid Glass Is Cracked, and Usability Suffers in iOS 26
iOS 26’s visual language obscures content instead of letting it take the spotlight. New (but not always better) design patterns replace established conventions.

It is 2025.

Abortion on demand is so 2015.

How about Abortion via app?

Preferably just via swiping left or right, but I will leave that up to the UX designers.

The following is REAL footage from Portland, 2025. Viewer discretion is advised.
I came here to throw my vote behind “Saving Private Ryan.”

Others beat me to it, but it’s my favorite opening of a movie. :)

This is how Trump got elected.

The desire for perfect gets in the way of good.

Sometimes we need to unite behind imperfect politicians to stave off the truly evil ones.

Up north in Clark County - I a similar opinion about Marie Glusenkamp Perez.

It’s hard to compromise.
I watched this on television too - is this different from what’s happening?
Very slightly better if we turn on “reduce transparency”
I mean - come on #Apple - this #AppleNew interface on #MacOS26 is just flat out unacceptable.
Yes. #LiquidGlass is as hard to see as I expected. Even with “reduce transparency”. I am not sure how this is an improvement for a device like a phone that will be used in all kinds of lighting. I really like new versions of software - but I am not sure why #Apple would make a UI like this. #ios26
Social Media used to be bad because the algorithm would create bubbles and we never were exposed to other viewpoints. So to solve that we all went and self selected our way to new social networks that exist almost entirely as bubbles so now we are never exposed to other viewpoints.
