In the age of AI assisted coding, here's my top tip, learn to use the available linters/code quality/static analysis and automated testing tools available for your chosen language. Being able to verify AI generated code is going to become very useful.

AI site building with #WordPress Studio + MCP + Copilot in VS Code + Pexels + two prompts (one to build the theme, one to create the preview site) = jbossenger-tmdgb-studio.wp.build/ 🤯

(Take 2) I created this site with #WordPress Studio and wordpress-studio-mcp-server in under an hour, without writing any code. Full block theme implementation. What do you think?

Expanding AI model access for WordPress sites with OpenRouter: 400+ Models in One Provider
A few days ago, I shared my experiments with local, open-source AI models using Ollama and the WP AI Client. While Ollama offers a fantastic solution for running local models and accessing cloud-based open source options, I found myself wanting easier access to a broader range of commercial and proprietary models as well. That's when I discovered OpenRouter, a service that provides unified access to over 400 AI models from various providers through a single API.

I've only been doing this YouTube thing for a while now (and only with any real seriousness for the past year), and I'm still learning from the process, but last month I hit a pretty neat milestone: 100,000 views! Thanks to everyone who watches my online ramblings.

Experimenting with local open source AI models using Ollama and the WP AI Client
I've been spending quite a bit of time digging into the WordPress AI Client and PHP AI Client as part of my research for a blog post on the WordPress Developer blog. While working on my demo code for the post, I wondered if it would be possible to use these clients with local AI models. At the time of this writing, Google is the only model provider that offers an API Key on a free tier, and I'm pretty sure that will go away soon.
