I deleted my account on the old site a few weeks ago now, and ever since then, I've wanted to post other things on my account. You've already seen some of this with my recent pixel art pieces, but I think I'm going to shift this account towards my interests as a whole rather than just Final Fantasy

Got to the fight myself just the other day. I've played Tactics before, but was still unprepared since I didn't remember when in the game it happened. I eventually beat it, mostly thanks to ninja Ramza, but past experience did not make it much easier.

I know it's probably unfair of me to make assumptions before the game is even out, but I've yet to play a gacha game that could change my mind on the genre. Sorry for rambling, I just needed to vent/rant for a bit.

It's frustrating to see such love and consideration for the Final Fantasy series, and yet see it wrapped up in micro-transactions and gambling. To say nothing of the inevitable end of service. I mean, how many gacha games has Square Enix canned now? Do we really think this one will go any better?

in the future, Papalymo getting to see Lyse embrace her true self; it's great stuff that never would have made it into a proper console/pc title, and I'm sure this new entry will have much of the same. That said, I wish there was literally any other way to get those moments than another gacha game.

I have very mixed feelings about the new #Dissidia game. On the one hand, I've seen from watching Opera Omnia cutscenes how a mobile game could be perfect for giving a spotlight to lesser known Final Fantasy characters. Noel and Ultimecia bonding over their shared experience of living in isolation

The Mark of Rhalgr in Little Ala Mhigo. Jon and his parents took refuge there following the Calamity. It's also where his parents passed away to disease in the following years. He couldn't really afford a proper burial, so the Mark of Rhalgr is the closest thing he's got for a gravestone to visit.

Me: Man, there are a lot of games that I want to play. Death Stranding 2, Ivalice Chronicles, Expedition 33, the Raidou remake, not to mention all the older games on my backlog. I should get around to that.

At the start, Jon was more of a self-insert, to the point that his first name is a shortened version of my own. But as I played more of FFXIV, and got more invested in my wol, I've ended up separating me and Jon more and more.
