another thing i dont get is how "indie" now appears to mean almost any style of music at all that isnt mainstream pop and "lo - fi" appears to mean something completely different from what i thought also. its tough being an out of touch old geeezer with all these mp3s + new fangled video cassetes

heres an interesting new modern horror - listening to some music by a random artist youve never heard of before and having to decide if they "made" it with AI or not . I think so far its pretty easy to spot particularly on vocals but who knows in the phuuture

Also note how many new kinds of music etc came up from the 70s to the 90s and then suddenly stopped in the 2000s I think this thing actively stunts people's imaginations and makes em unable to do anything but regurgitate stuff they already seen/heard you can see the same with movies etc

I think my new year's resolution will be to use the internet as little as possible as it's clear to me this thing is no longer about the free flow of information and connecting people but is actively being used to manipulate and brainwash everyone into blaming each other than the real culprits

I also found out recently one of these guys made a whole twitter page full of mental health and self help advice and when I tried to show 2 other people it recently it turned out only my computer could even see this shit despite the fact I wasnt even following them so....who knows? V strange

Also in terms of these record company twerps I should have never let their rejection of my work stop me so I can't blame them for that I think I was kinda scared of being successful also tbh but they clearly knew I was out to lunch and the whole thing just made it worse but you got to help urself
