I have to tell a story about this. My great uncle, Jimmy Perrone, fought Hitler in WWII and then came back to our hometown and married Adeline Liguori, my grandfather’s sister. Adeline died of cancer in the early 1980s and Uncle Jim went through a depression. 1/x

When the Church were touring for Starfish (the album "Under the Milky Way" was on), they did an impromptu mid-afternoon free show on a plaza in downtown Dallas which I just happened to stumble on.
They hung out after and I ended up spending 15 minutes talking to Marty Willson-Piper. It was wild.

The thing that has me trapped in a deep well of depression is the fact that these guys are acting exactly like the SS did in the mid-1930s, only without the snappy uniforms, and our educational system is so lacking hardly anyone really sees it
